Air America

I have XM Satellite Radio and am also a stockholder (best pick I’ve ever made). I get in the car this morning, slap my Delphi Skyfi in the cradle, tune over to FOX News to see what’s happened while I slept. After listening for a few minutes, I remember that “Air America” is now on channel 167! So, I stroll across the dial, stopping off at “The 70s on 7″ to catch the end of “Aint Gonna Bump No More, With No Big Fat Woman”. I get to Air America which reads “America Left” on the screen. Remember the Janeane Garafalo’s statement about not being as nasty as “right-wingers? And the part about liberals being nicer people, and the part about engaging in conversations that have context and nuance? Well apparently there has been a programming change. A so-called alcoholic discussing George W’s problems stemming from being a “recovering alcoholic”. Most of the programming is from others calling in. Like Clinton’s formers staffers who apparently still haven’t found new jobs. Today’s soapbox is our unilateral action in Iraq (I guess COUNTING is not a pre-requisite to hosting a show) and how THEY could have gotten the UN involved. HELLO! have you been listening to the news? France, Russia & Germany had a deal with Saddam to keep us from attacking him! You really think we could have convinced them to join us, when behind our backs they were doing everything possible to stop us? Oh well, I guess their programming is just over the heads of us conservatives. I don’t really think that Rush, O’Reilly or Hannity are sweating too much. Remember channel 167. I say that again because while searching, you might get America Left confused with one of XM’s comedy channels.
