Bill, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry are flying on Kerry’s wife’s private jet.
Bill looks at Hillary, chuckles and says, “You know, I could throw a $100.00 bill out the window right now and make somebody very happy.”
Hillary shrugs her shoulders and says, “Well, I could throw ten $10.00 bills out the window and make 10 people very happy.”
Kerry says, “Of course then, I could throw one hundred $1.00 bills out the window and make a hundred people very happy.”
The pilot rolls his eyes, looks at all of them and says to his co-pilot, ” Such bigshots back there … I could throw all of them out the window and make millions happy.”

On 13, Zach, yep.. that’s the sad truth. But the more the grovel for power the more the truth comes out about them: that they hate America and want to socialize the country (which does nothing but empower them). Which is why the likes of CBS and CNN have dropped in ratings and conservative views are sought on other stations (FOXnews, etc.) Bush has done right after the Clinton mess, especially the war on terror. (Remember the attack on the USS Cole? Billy did NOTHING!)

Bin laden wasn’t Clinton’s mess; perhaps you fail to realize 9/11 happened during Bush’s presidency. When Clinton left office, he left a memo to George bush saying to watch out for al Quida. When the president was on vacation in Texas during 2000, he received a memo titled “BIN LODEN DETERMINED TO ATTACK WITHIN THE U.S” and he could have chosen to reform intelligence then, to improve security then, but he chose to disregard the memo, and get on with his vacation. What happens? Terrorists hijack 4 planes and kill hundreds of people and deal a serious blow to our economy. Oh, now lets go after the terrorists after the damage has been done, great policy man. To blame it on Clinton seems a little unfair to me, because Clinton met with the head on the national security agency every morning to discuss intelligence on such networks as al Quida, he stopped many terrorist attacks. Don’t blame Clinton for Bush’s screw up. Bush could have done a lot more to stop that attack, but he chose to ignore it until it was too late.

Mr. Jack (#16), Bill Clinton had 8 years to take care of bin Laden. George Bush had 8 months. You do the math. Taking care of terrorism is Bush’s livelihood. That’s what he’ll be remembered for. Clinton, on the other hand, had lots to be desired on that subject.

Also adding to 17, Bill Clinton also had many chances to pursue Bin Laden: The attack on Marines in Yemen in 1992, the first bombing of the WTC in 1993, the Khobar Towers incident in 1996, the bombings of American embassies ing Kenya and Tanzania in 1998, and the bombing of the USS Cole in 2000. All of these took place on Clinton’s watch. Heck, Suadi Arabia when they had him under custody wanted to turn him over to us for a trial during Clinton’s period…

Bigwood, Clinton did more to stop terror then Bush has done in the last 4 ˝ years. Maybe you’ll remember a few of these things, for 1, after the embassy bombings overseas, Clinton ordered Bin Laden to the FBI’s top 10 most wanted, offered a $25 million reward for his capture, ordered the freezing of funding for any terror organizations, and actively sought diplomacy with other nations to freeze all funding for Al-Quida completely.
Maybe you remember 1996 after Saddam refused weapons inspectors to several facilities believed to store biological weapons, Clinton ordered a small campaign in Iraq called operation Desert Fox.
Bush on the other hand has cut off all diplomacy to cut funding, and seeks only to kill terrorists, which there’s nothing wrong with because they deserve to die, but it does little to solve the problem, Sure they’re dying at a rapid pace, but it’s re-enforcing their message, and therefore they’re recruiting more people then we’re killing. Furthermore, they still have funding for their terror, they have connections to arms shipments, that they can use to strike anywhere in the world that they so choose. They have sleeper cells in god knows how many locations all over the globe, tell me pleas how this solves the problem,

Seth, Liberals aren’t mad at defending America, they’re mad being lied to. Iraq isn’t the war on terror, there were not terrorists there before we came, and now, the place is a breeding ground for anarchy and terrorism.
And you do know what the patriot act is right? It’s Martial Law. Unofficial martial law at that. For example, the FBI can arrest any one they choose and not charge them. They can search houses and living spaces without a warrant. They can imprison a person based on their reading habits, without trial, hell if an Arab person protests the war, the FBI can claim them to be a terrorist and hold them. It may be just me, but doesn’t that sound like a violation of the first amendment? Oh I forgot, it doesn’t matter anymore! Don’t support something because some one else says it’s patriotic.
If you truly had a backbone to stand up for your rights, then you would appose the patriot act with every tiered aching muscle in your body.
and as far as I know, liberals don’t have compassion for terrorists. They don’t support the mass murder of innocent civilians. They just believe that Sudam was no threat to the United states (some threat if we destroyed his army in 3 days!) and they believe that our priority should be Osoma, not Sudam. Different people you know. If you wanted to truly defend America, you’d focus on places like Iran and North Korea, you know, the real threats, not a place like Iraq that was crushed by the U.N sanctions, and the Gulf War.

I love how conservatives are so quick to make such generalizing statements about those who oppose president Bush. “You’re a wuss, you don’t stand up for America, you have compassion for terrorists… etc.” It has been proven time and again that the Democrats have done more to curb terrorism than the Bush Administration, and it has been proven that there were no real connections between Iraq and Al-Qaeda. Just accept the fact that the war was a complete fumble, there was obviously a hidden agenda behind this whole “war on terror”, and that a revamping of the entire situation that we’re in right now is going to be the only thing that could ever possibly get us out of this mess.
Or you can stay the course. Let things get worse.
This isn’t about proving how tough you are on terror, or securing the nation from attack. The rights of the American people are much more likely to be attacked by their own government than by some terrorists who hide in caves in the Middle East. You are losing your freedom. It’s being stolen from your very eyes, and you’re not even questioning it. You never know what could happen. You might vote the wrong way…

I fail to see how any person could have any passion whatsoever for George Bush. He won a conclusive victory in Afghanistan . . . only to bugger up and send out troops off into another killing field while the Taliban took up residence back in their old haunts. He managed to turn massive sympathy for America after 9/11 into worldwide condemnation because of its conduct in the illegal (face it, under international law, it is) war in Iraq. That conflict has been totally mismanaged; its very premise was based on false information, there was no plan for what should happen in the aftermath of the regime, Saddam’s trial is a joke and an insult to justice, and Iraq has descended into anarchy and civil war. Furthermore, far from defeating the terrorists, Bush has simply created breeding grounds where “martyrs” may sacrifice themselves for the “cause”. The election of Hamas in Palestine and the popularity of Hizbollah in Lebanon, show how we have encouraged extremism and furthered the terrorists cause. Bush has also shown himself to be incapable of exerting any pressure on Iran and North Korea, who now flaunt the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Act with impunity. I cannot comment on Bush’s domestic policies, but from a foreigner’s point of view, Bush has proved an abject failure in all his stated foreign-policy missions.

Forget about the political issues for a moment, can we?
Despite the fact that I don’t like Hilary, I have a problem with a woman (she’s really a woman, isn’t she?) being president. A woman shouldn’t be president because woman rule by emotions. And what happens if we are on the verge of war and she has a PMS attack? Even if she’s gone through menopause, she could still have a hormonal issue and boom! we’re at war. Men don’t rule by emotion or hormones.
If Hilary becomes president, I’m moving to the UK. Don’t even get me started on my spiritual views on her. There is also a issue with her ideas on discipline, I don’t agree with her.
Now, I’m open to an Afro-American becoming president. It would be interesting to see how things would unfold. I would hope that it never become a racial thing.
With Hilary, I feel also that this is a power hungry thing. She wants to be the first female president so she can be in the history books. It’s all for show.
Okay, she might be sincere but I still can’t take this seriously.
Anyway, I’m voting “no” on Hilary Clinton. Maybe in 30 years, we can get a woman but hopefully, I’ll be dead by then.

I think the problem with Hillary as a candidate is just that she is too main stream. She is phenomenal at the political game. Unfortunately, it seems that the better politicians are at politics (i.e. running for office), the worse they are at leading the country.
