Edwards law suit!
Senator Edward’s law staff is looking at videos of last night’s Vice Presidential debate. He is considering filing a “personal injury” law suit against VP Cheney for beating him so severely last night. A spokesman for Edwards says that anyone who saw the debate could be called as a witness. “It’s obvious to anyone who saw the debate that Cheney beat Mr. Edwards mercilessly. That kind of beating deserves some kind of compensation. We think we can win this law suit hands-down.” Mr. Edwards is said to be resting comfortably in a South Carolina hospital. He is still a little groggy, but doesn’t remember much about the events of last night. He said that it all happened so fast that he didn’t have time to defend himself.

I confess to witnessing the attack. It’s true, Cheney clobbered Edwards. It was like young Luke Skywalker trying to fight against the master Yoda.

I heard it described as Mr. Stand Up against Mr. Slip and Fall.

Edwards is such a flip-floppin’ loser. Cheney could womp him on blind-folded.
zack Says: October 7th, 2004 at 12:34 am
Edwards qualifications: ambulance chaser, 2 years in U.S. Senate, the past 2 years split between running for President against John Kerry and running for Vice President WITH John Kerry.
Charone Says: October 7th, 2004 at 5:05 pm
What color is the sky in your world? Edwards is way smarter than Cheney, and his arguments were solid. Every time Cheney felt himself backed into a corner, he tried to change the subject by invoking 9/11
JD Says: October 7th, 2004 at 7:07 pm
There you go again. The liberals are always smarter.
JD Says: October 7th, 2004 at 9:51 pm
Hey whatever happened to Smokes for Votes? Is that coming back too?
Serbian National Says: October 7th, 2004 at 11:55 pm
Of course the liberals are always smarter! Us doomb conserv’tives, we don’t know which way be up’n'which way be doown. We all be gun-totin’ red-necks, too. That’er some’a'dem cowboys.

a liberal criticizes what he understands the least.

Well it’s not so much that liberals are always smarter. Well, yes it is.

vote democrat, it is easier than getting a job
Bryan Says: October 28th, 2004 at 8:44 pm
Try getting your facts from a source that isn’t biased and try making your own decisions. Anyone with intelligence wouldn’t claim to be a liberal or a conservative. It seems to me that those on both sides can only back up their stances with propaganda from that side. Let me guess, your conservative and you get your information from Rush Limbaugh or some other quack. Dittoheads! Investigate info before claiming it as fact!
JD Says: October 28th, 2004 at 8:48 pm
Bryan, please be specific about what you are talking about. What facts are you questioning?
JD Says: October 28th, 2004 at 8:53 pm
Bryan: It is a myth to believe the middle is the proper place to be. If a person does an honest jobe of getting the facts and making informed judgements they will not find themselves in the middle. They will find themselves as a conservative.
Republican 4 ever Says: October 28th, 2004 at 9:01 pm
What a stupid thing to say that you can’t be in the middle…I endorse the republican party but not on some issues ex: There was no imminent threat from Iraq, no mushroom cloud…not respecting the UN is unaceptable.
JD Says: October 28th, 2004 at 9:17 pm
Rep 4: I didn’t say you can’t be in the middle I said if you look at all the facts, apply critical thinking and reach conclusions based on fact and thinking inevitably you won’t end up in the middle. You will end up with conservative viewpoints.
JD Says: October 28th, 2004 at 9:19 pm
And I say you might think you are a republican but you are not. Either that or you are woefully uninformed.
JD Says: October 28th, 2004 at 9:22 pm
Conservatism is, by definition, critical thinking. And liberalism does not stand the test of critical thinking. And neither does this la la land that “the middle” represents.
Republican 4 ever Says: October 28th, 2004 at 9:32 pm
JD ”conservative viewpoints” is such a general term. I share some and I don’t agree with some. Spare me with the critical thinking and based on facts thing!! Please!! We have been misled on a variety of subjects…There are many dictators like Saddam around the world..checkout whats happening in Africa…do we stop genocides? no! Do we sent troops urgently? no…
JD Says: October 28th, 2004 at 9:34 pm
R4: I insist on facts because it seems you lack them. What exactly have we been misled about?
Republican 4 ever Says: October 28th, 2004 at 9:41 pm
JD: about Iraq being a direct threat to us…they are not! You’ll say they support terrorist networks..so does a bunch of countries…why did we have to go without the UN?? Our kids and grandkids will be paying for this war…
The mushroom cloud thing..that was baloney!!
I have friends in the military over there and they’re really pissed off! W Bush didn’t have a plan..and its true we are lacking troops over there…
80 attacks a day on our boys over there!! My friend will stay there until sometime in 2005..and will miss X-mas…
Republican 4 ever Says: October 28th, 2004 at 9:42 pm
conservatism: a political or theological orientation advocating the preservation of the best in society and opposing radical changes
JD Says: October 28th, 2004 at 9:43 pm
Still waiting R4. Rants about Iraq not being a threat ignores the intelligence we had, however flawed.
Republican 4 ever Says: October 28th, 2004 at 9:45 pm
another thing: what’s up with Arnold saying ”don’t be economical girlie men” ???
Are we on the Simpsons? Is he McBain?
JD Says: October 28th, 2004 at 9:46 pm
Oh boy R4 I love those definitions that are pulled from the dictionary that are suppose to be significant. Always implying that liberalism is the “right” way to think.
Republican 4 ever Says: October 28th, 2004 at 9:56 pm
JD: flawed intel?? C’mon how can we have proof of WMDs and when we go there we find nothing…
All our intel did was build little 3D graphics of moving trucks producing chemical weapons and because of that we lost our credibility!
The republican party needs to get rid of the oldies (hawks)…
Republican 4 ever Says: October 28th, 2004 at 9:57 pm
JD: making up definitions is exactly was Bush is doing: making up stuff!
JD Says: October 28th, 2004 at 9:58 pm
R4: Looking it over you are obviously anti-war. You have a friend over there, that makes it an emotional issue for you. No shame in that. But that does not excuse your lack of insight into why and how we got there.
Republican 4 ever Says: October 28th, 2004 at 10:03 pm
JD: War must be last resort and it clearly wasn’t
and we went there unprepared = costing US lives for NOTHING!! If we had waited we would be there right now, a few months later and I’m pretty sure Saddam wouldn’t have bombed us, we would have real allies (not Poland!!) and a real plan with real equipment…and our lil’ boys wouldn’t be dying everyday over there!! Even canada our lil’ brother refused to go!!
Republican 4 ever Says: October 28th, 2004 at 10:04 pm
JD: I’ll be back Friday let’s do this again…have a good evening…
Serbian National Says: October 28th, 2004 at 11:07 pm
You don’t think that freedom in the Middle East is worth something? Even if its cheaper oil funding your SUV, its still a worthy cause.
What about their lives? Are we not suppose to worry about them? That would be turning our back on the world, becoming isolationistic once more, and liberals don’t seem to like that either. Then again, who knows what liberals like, since their views seem to change so often, as we can see from the greatest liberal of them all, because he represents them all (all at once), Sen. Kerry.
Brooks Says: October 29th, 2004 at 12:22 am
Freedom is worth fighting for. Freedom is worth dying for.
Serbian National Says: October 29th, 2004 at 1:11 am
I agree completely, Brooks, and that is also what the soldier’s who are laying down their lives in Iraq think too. Even though the liberals are trying to usurp the just cause that we have in Iraq, the soldier’s realize who is on their side, and, by a 6-1 margin, are voting for George Dubya.
Serbian National Says: October 29th, 2004 at 1:11 am
Sorry about that misused apostrophy (”soldier’s”). It should not be there, since soldiers is plural, and not possessive.
