Laurie David, wife of comedian Larry David and according to Arianna Huffington “one of the most creative minds” was amazed to find out that her views on the need to abolish SUVs were ahead of the “media conventional wisdom” by reading, of all things, the New York Times this past weekend. Mrs. David said this after informing the unwashed that she had been told her views were outside of the views of “the American people.” Apparently, Mrs. David believes the New York Times reflects what is going on with “the American people.”
Well, Laurie, believe me, you and your husband are not only “way ahead” of “media conventional wisdom” but you and your husband’s “Hollywood/New York Ilk” define “media conventional wisdom.” Mrs. David, were you really surprised by this groundbreaking story in the New York Times?
One last question Mrs. David, what makes you such a “creative mind”? Is it the fact that you landed Larry? Or is it all the wisdom you have acquired (via osmosis?) from attending all those parties with Hollywood types?
