Usually, however, the person who wins the popular vote wins the election, but in a race this close, who knows? In Colorado, they are going to be giving electoral votes (they have 9) to the candidates based on the amount of popular vote they receive in their state. So, if one candidate gets 66% of the vote, they will receive 6 electoral votes. Of course, if Colorado is a factor in the winner of this election, the losing team will have legions of lawyers to debate whether this is Consitutional or not. Yay!
