NO IDEAS, NO FUTURE

Hello bloggers, mutants, liberals and the righteous! I’ve been absent from the site for a while, but I have really been enjoying the back and forth between chillliberal, JD, Suzanne and others. Now for some random thoughts.
It’s always amazing how modern liberals, chilled or at room temp, offer only insults when confronted with todays serious issues. Where are the alternative ideas?
SOCIAL SECURITY: Everybody agrees that social security needs to be fixed. Right? George Bush has jumped on this third rail of American politics where nobody else dared tread before. His suggestion of “considering” the idea of partial privatization is just that, an idea. It needs debate and further study. What is the liberal response. GEORGE BUSH WANTS TO DESTROY SOCIAL SECURITY. HIDE YOUR BABIES! HE HATES PUPPIES TOO! Nancy Pelosi has become a caricature of modern liberals. They have no ideas. The only idea liberals offer to save social security is to raise taxes and put more money into it. God knows it’s worked famously for education….wait….I mean…well uh…Well it might work! Taxation and government dependency are the only things that keep liberals and the modern Democratic party in power. Dance with the one that brung you! (That’s a Texas saying.)
IRAQ: The secret is out. Rummy and Bush want our soldiers to get killed, that’s why they purposely withheld armor plating from the humvee’s and personel carriers. THOSE BASTARDS! It was probably all Dick Cheny’s idea. He was driven to madness by his lesbian daughter andthe millions of dollars being funneled into his pocket by Haliburton. DOES THAT SOUND ABOUT RIGHT! Well to hear the liberal tripe in the mainstream media and the blogosphere, that is the secret plan.
The fact is the United States military has made incredible accomplishments in just a few short years. The plan to take the fight to the terrorists, set in motion after 911, is working famously. It is war, so there will be mistakes, setbacks, miscalculations and errors. That is the nature of war. If the U.S. and the rest of the world were perfect in every respect, THERE WOULD BE NO WAR! The spineless Euro-Cowards, Tony Blair excluded, chose to sit this one out because they lacked the moral courage and will to do what was right. They chose the status quo over doing the right thing. Besides, why upset the oil-for-food cash flow?
IRAN: Would you morons who constantly harp about America supporting puppet regiems please shut up! America is in this world, just like every other nation and we have to make choices. To suggest that America has the ability to determine who would and would not lead a nation is assinine. We can only lend our support to those we think would serve our bests interest. AND WHAT ELSE SHOULD WE DO! America backed the Shah of Iran, to avoid a mullah-cratic takeover of Iran. We failed. The Shah was no saint, but history has proven that he was the better alternative, punctuated by millions of Iranian tortures and deaths at the hands of so-called religious leaders.
THE NEXT FOUR YEARS: If you thought Bush’s first four years were interesting…. The entire world, our friends and enemies alike, were holding their breath, waiting to see if Bush would be re-elected. Now that he is back in office the war on terror will accelerate. Our enemies are becoming more and more desperate. We are winning. They are scared.
The Democrats had better wake up our they will join the trash heap of history along with the Whigs, the Bathists and the Communist Party. Government control is not the answer. Moral relativism is not the answer. Yes there are shades of gray, BUT THERE IS ALSO BLACK AND WHITE!
Speaking of black and white, the Democrats have lied to minorities for to long. There is an awakening happening among blacks and hispanics. As those communities become more educated and prosperous with each subsequent generation, the realization that they have been, to quote Malcom X, “hoodwinked and bamboozeled” is starting to emerge. They are starting to realize that the Democratic party is run by rich white people, and by black leaders who earned their bones by paying homage to those rich white liberals.
It’s starting to sink in with the hispanic community as well. The growing hispanic minority population is a threat to the black political power base and presents conundrum for the Democratic party. The hispanic community was not raised on the lie of welfare. Most came to this country to escape poverty and to work, and hispanics born in this country were born into a different community mind set. How do you preach welfare and government dependence to people who were instilled with a “work and you will prosper” ethic?
Yes, the next four years will be very interesting, but if liberals don’t start coming up with some new ideas….the future doesn’t look very good.

To be blunt: no liberal of sane mind believes the Bush Adminstration wants dead soldiers on their hands. However, most liberals - myself among them - believe that the Bush Adminstration has greivously mishandled the execution of this campaign and that it puts soldiers at undue risk.

I saw on TV the other day where a group of Activist in California, consisting of both black and whites, are coming to the realization, that the Dems have been “hoodwinking” the blacks. They were, rightly so, upset that Condoleeza Rice and Powell are being protrayed as “token” represetatives of blacks as tho they are not smart enough or capable of holding those high offices on their own abilities. I am so proud of them for speaking out!Can you just imagine what a stink would be raised if the situation was reverse and the conservatives where saying what the liberals are about this Rice and Powell.

Everybody felt incredibly angered after 9/11 and I was the first saying: Let’s see that US army kick some *ss! If it could be that simple…
Saying the US is doing a good job these past few years is just outrageous…you’re Bush’s Lewinsky! Get off your knees or get some good kneepads!

Chillliberal: You sound just like the average liberal by calling names and throwing insults around. You also think that everything in this world has a perfect answer that everybody would agree on if they would just listen to YOU… Wake up, The Democratic Party is on a downhill grade and the elections this year just proved my point even more. Even though the majority obivously thinks that Bush is the right choice you and other Liberals are sore losers and need to get over the fact that you lost. And one more thing, your refrence of ” …you’re Bush’s Lewinsky!” just shows something of your morals. I hope I didnt hurt your feelings in any way by making any of these comments, or make you feel violated but the truth is apparent , while yes their will always be gray areas, its as clear as the Blacks and Whites getting along… (on the Republican side anyways).
So slack off the sexual refrences and putdowns and say something that is worth your time. I wouldnt want you to waste any…

oh no… i’m back!?!
I was looking to see if this site had picked on the interview with kerry’s campaign manager and her talk about all the lies they used in an attempt to get Kerry elected… i’m surprised I haven’t seen anything so far!
well, here’s what I think about all of this above.
Social Security: too bad the “lock box” was used for rich tax breaks instead… but I do think the privitization of Social Security could work… I don’t see why we cut a little of the breaks we gave the rich just so we could help pay for the social security we need to hand out now… and I would really feel sorry for anyone who needed the money in the middle of a terrible economy. Something should be done… the democrats plan pretty much is raising taxes in order to pay for social security. That could work too, I think, but the raise would be really high… and I don’t really know if even I would support 2 trillion in tax increase just for this program… but I don’t work yet so I really can’t say, can I…
Iraq: Its very obvious that the war was a scheme by bush to kill as many soldires as he could… seriously, though… I just can’t support the war (but I do wish the troops safety, oh, those who think I have to be against the troops to not support the war) We went for, supposedly, his stock piles of WMDs and ties with Al Quada… but now all the conservatives that support the war have to throw together new reasons as to why the war was good, which makes me a bit sceptical. stating that the “euro-cowards” don’t want to do whats right, I’m ready to hear a reason I can agree wtih that makes the Iraq war the best place to invade in the war on terror or dangerous WMDs, Most republicans seem to agree with the war just to back up their same-party president (which is the reason why most democrats oppose the war, because they don’t want to agree with the president…. meh)
I also want to say that I dont think the democrats are going to “disapear”… half a century ago the republicans failed to have a president for 16 straight years and hardly ever had control of the senate or house or anything, taken for as dead by democrats, are where they are today. Democrats will continue to be a major party in america (did john kerry not get 49% of the entire US vote? Even if all of them did it just because they didn’t like bush, it shows they sided with the democrats instead of a puny 3rd party)
My respect for bush will grow immensly if we can get some Palistinian state in Isreal and if we can become more respected in the world..
and I really wouldn’t argue with education and siding with republicans… The only area in NC where Kerry led Bush was in the educated triangle, and you can argue all you want, but a bit of the states that carried bush don’t have the brightest population (here’s looking at wyoming and Mississippi!) I would even go so far as to argue that more smart people vote democratic then republican… (but not all the time, Reagan attracted almost everyone, and california has only recently become democratic)

Maverick: another comedian…sore loser yeah I am!! If I lost a basketball game or something then it would be bad to be a sore loser. But now, the outcome is reshaping the world in a very negative way and I won’t just accept it and be fine with it. I can’t be mad a the liberal party, they just can’t make it work. They are seriously lacking prospects for 2008. Lay off my morals….

As far as the sore-loser part goes, I see where you COULD come from but I still disagree with it. Why? Because when Bill cLinton won back 2 back terms in the 90’s sucide was looking like a very resonable alternative then taking Bill Clintons propaganda BUT…. Thankfully I’am still here 2 see the Republicans make a strong comeback and you know what? During Bill Clintons run I was still proud 2 be an American, supported our troops (because they dont make the call) no matter what, and still considered myself a loyal patriot to this wonderful country. It has not been the same when the tables have turned against the liberals. Now of course I was sore for a while but I got over it, accepted the lose while at the saem time remebering that we are all in this thing together and that we are (supposedly) on the same side. Should everybody be just like me? NO! What a boring world that would be, but it would be nice if we could unite once again as Americans and feel like everybody has to say there piece all the time. I’am all for freedom of speech but if things are as bad as some Liberals say they are why arent more of them leaving? Cause their wrong….. You know how you said “I can’t be mad a the liberal party, they just can’t make it work.” ???? Did you ever think that they are going about it all wrong? That what they are saying and wanting done is wrong? MAybe thats why “it just wont work”. Just a thought…
Oh and one more observation…. By you telling me to “Lay off my morals…” isnt that you putting your morals on me, by telling me to lay off yours? Maybe not….. I have been wrong before…
