  1. please explain the crap the democrats can do and how republicans dont bring crap into the whitehouse… i’m curious

  2. He means the big deficits, higher interest rates, and less employment prospects the Republicans brought us. Now tell me, how messed up is that?

  3. Clinton handed a burning bag of shit for an economy to Bush. Bush has turned it around. We added 1.7 million jobs. How stupid to not realize there was a huge tech boom due to the Internet starting in 1994. Clinton rode that horse for free, and he had a Republican congress to stay under budget (even though Clinton fought them tooth and nail every step of the way).

Democrats believe the people are the ‘child’ of the government, where as Republican’s believe people are smart enough to lead their own lives.

We could argue this shit all day. Bottom line, we have a majority of state governors, house, senate, judical and exective branch. HUH! WHAT, NO COMEBACK?

    Laughing at Liberals, indeed.

  4. Oh… and I forgot to add, Bush also had to deal with Sept. 11th, brewing corporate scandal (from the Clinton years), and two wars. And STILL… the economy is in an upward trend. Now, if that’s a fact, am I lying? Hell no. Why did they once again raise the interest rates? Because the economy is showing signs of strength.

Liberals spew empty rhetoric, and ignore the facts. That’s why Republican’s kick their ass.

  5. good argument don, i do think its funny how nobody replied back…but on another note its not that Liberals are stupid, its just they know so much that isnt so.

  6. I am a stay at home Mom for Bush and have to know where to get this onesie for my 2 month old!

  7. Don: You are right on target! I’ve been complaining about that since Al Gore ran. Clinton had NOTHING to do with the economic boom. It weas the explosion of the computer industry. Everybody and their brother bought computers and jumped on the internet. It would not have mattered who was the President. The jobs? Same story. When everybody that wanted a computer and the internet got them….that’s when the fall started. Production dropped-off to next to nothing, therefore the lay-offs started.
So…..he did nothing about terrorism overseas, and he had nothing to do with the economy boom. He was so busy trying to stay out of jail that he didn’t have time to do anything!

    K. Brown: e-mail me and I’ll fix you up on the t-shirt.

  8. Hi, K Brown, my wife is a stay-at-home Mom for Bush too. Try weepublicans to find a selection of expressive clothing.

  9. I was wondering when someone was going to point outthe fact that the 90’s boom was more due to Microsoft and hi tech than to Clinton. And that the good economy was also supporting Enron, and others whose “cooking the books” went on thru those years but were found out after Bush came into office. (altho many want to blame Bush for his “cronies” illegal acts). And of course even one war and the monies paid to airlines, and families of the victims after 9/11 would did a hole in anyones pocketbook.

  10. Sure, the dot-com revolution happened during Clinton’s term…because Al Gore spearheaded the movement to bring the internet to Joe Q. Public (no, he didn’t “invent” it, but he did push Congress to support his vision of internet access in schools, libraries, and homes nationwide).

But the Clinton economic boom was far more than just dot-com jobs. The main reason the economy began to slide in late 2000 was twofold: 1) Clinton’s term was ending soon, so the stock market didn’t know where Gore or Bush would take the economy, and 2) the prolonged “selection” of 2000 triggered another panicky period on the stock market. It never quite totally recovered, and then of course 9/11 really shot it all to hell, esp. the airline and tourist industries.

Furthermore, 9/11 wouldn’t have happened, if Bush had taken Clinton’s warnings about Osama Bin Laden seriously. As it was, Bush ignored him, went on vacation, then plopped his sorry self onto a mini chair at an elementary school, where he read about goats while 3000+ people died.

And you neo-Cons wonder why we want this man out of office??

  11. Perhaps the reason Bush didn’t take Clinton’s warnings about Osama bin Laden seriously is because Clinton hadn’t backed up his warnings with action. “Do as I say, not as I do” doesn’t convey much credibility or seriousness.

  12. Proud Democrat,
Apparently you are not aware of the fact that the Sudanese government approached the Clinton administration three times in 1998 with information on Osama Bin Ladens exact whereabouts and security (Bin Laden was in Sudan at this time). If Bill Clinton had acted when he had the chance 9/11 never would have happened. Furthermore if Bill Clinton had not gutted the CIA’s budget we would have better intelligence on where he is today.

  13. Are you righties delusional or what?

When the economy’s going well, it’s not Clinton’s doing. Oh okay.

When the economy’s in the crapper, it’s not Bush’s fault, but 9/11, the war, etc. What?

1.7 milion jobs? What kind of crap is it to brag about gaining back the jobs he lost? The same kind of crap like calling providing Iraq with electricity and water (something they HAD before we invaded) as progress?

This is the most excuse-filled presidency ever. How’s about taking some responsibity for once?

  14. Sean,

The same info was available to Bush, as many of his ex-advisors have stated, yet he ignored it.

    Who’s more responsible here?

Plus, you righties were tying Clinton’s hands behind his back anytime he tried to take action, accusing him of using military actions to distract from your ridiculous witch-hunt impeachment.

  17. Both Saddam and Osama could have been taken out of power if Clinton would have gotten off his beeehind and done something about it. They were both right in his grasp to grab a hold of and choke, but like North Korea, he just kept blowing it off and gettin blown himself.

  18. Yes, but see dethroning Saddam was a rather big mess to clean up, and where oh where did you get the info that Clinton didn’t do anything about Osoma? In fact, he ordered all assets to countries that funded bin laden frozen, and a $25 million reward for his capture or assassination. As to the Sudan incident maybe you aren’t aware, but we launched a cruise missile strike on Bin Laden camp. By the time we found out he was still alive he was long gone.

and when Sadam wouldn’t let U.N inspectors in, Clinton ordered an air strike called operation Desert Fox to destroy his chemical weapons facilities.

  19. Righty,
If you really want to understand how we could have stopped Saddam and Osama read this:

You can blame Clinton but that’s an ignorant cop out. The majority of the blame lies at the door step of past republican administrations. If you knew the basic facts you’d understand that.
