Rudy Giuliani Speech

Possibly the best speech I’ve seen at a convention. –Bill Kristol

Bush's BestI had made the mistake of thinking that because of the moderate speaker line-up at the Republican convention this year, it would probably be a snoozer with perhaps a few great soundbyte moments. I happened to hear about the last half of of Rudy Giulini’s Republican convention speech. I’ve never been much of a Rudy fan, but was quite surprised at his eloquence. The speech was loaded with humor and heartfelt sadness from the day of September 11 and revealed some of the most tightly condensed analysis of John Kerry flip floppery I have ever heard. Giuliani demonstrated that George Bush’s post 9/11 policy decisions were the long term and deliberate policies characteristic of a strong war time leader. I’d highly recommend listening to this speech!

  1. There are people in this country that just get it! These people stand for values and freedom. God and family are foremost in their lives and they have a true from the heart goodness that resonates beyond their body for all to see. If you are one of these people you can see these qualities in Guliani and President Bush and you realize that although you may not agree with them 100% of the time, you know that in this time in history they are exactly the kind of people we need to serve us.

  2. “No matter how you try to blame it on the president, the actual responsibility for it really would be for the troops that were there,” Giuliani said on NBC’s “Today” show. “Did they search carefully enough? Didn’t they search carefully enough?”

Thank God for people in this country like this who “just get it!” Blame the troops!

Stupid fascist lemmings blame the troops. Democrats blame the President and his fascist partisan allies.

    Don’t drink the Kool-Aid!

  3. Fergy, you are an ignorany pig. God help you, my friend, ’cause you sure need the help.
