I think Mr. Limbaugh already explained the reasoning behind his statement, and you are taking it a bit out of context. Your second point is rational though. That was an ineffective statement for him to make for the conservative case on the health care debates.

Hilda, please enlighten us. I’m not being sarcastic, I truly do want to know what Rush has said or promoted that gives you that opinion. Rush says some sketchy things (like the “get the bone out of your nose” comment), but for the times I’ve listened to him, I haven’t heard anything that could be reasonably construed as “hate speech”. To be honest, he is perhaps the most reasonable talk show host of the right-wing persuasion on the air.

For example, I like listening to Mark Levin and Sean Hannity, but I HATE their tendencies to shout down callers or talk over them (respectively). Rush hardly does either of those. Also, as for his drug problem, he went into rehab or something in 2003, right? I personally will give him the benefit of the doubt, but you won’t and that’s your business.

That is all.

The American public should go up in arms, and get this hate mongrel off of the air. The amount of hate that he stirs up is criminal! Ignoring the fool is not going to make him go away, and there are enough people that don’t have their own talk show, that never have a positive thing to say about anyone or anybody. I’d sure hate to have his “karma”.

You said the Health Care system worked well for you when you were in the Hospital. You are a Millionaire so it would work well for you but tell that to the 30 million Americans that can’t afford Healthcare

I’m sick to death of my people being taking for a ride by big Government. too many of us just don’t get it. we will never advance as long as you let someone else take care of you instead of striving to do better for yourself. when i heard those ladies on TV who are homeless and they were going to participate in the program to help them get a home. i was embarrassed by the words they spoke. how could they not know where the money was coming from? But as rush said these women are model citizens in Obama utopia world.
