Stolen Honor
Straight from liberal news source CNN, the “anti-Kerry film” called Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal will air next week on the largest chain of television stations without commercial interruption. The documentary film (touche Monsieur Moore) discusses Sen. John Kerry’s anti-war activity in regard to American prisoners during the Vietnam War. Full story about Stolen Honor and the film’s airing here.

It appears John Edwards had a completely different take on Saddam Hussein last year. His appearance on Hardball with Chris Matthews from 10/13/03 is here.

I can’t believe people can compare Michael Moore’s movie to the prime-time Sinclair movie! Hello!! People had to pay for the Michael Moore movie, and it was mostly only democrats anyway who saw it. I haven’t met one republican who has seen that movie. But for Sinclair to force networks to play an uninterrupted candidate-bashing movie on network television is the lowest of the low.

Moore is a communist

No one is being forced to watch this movie just because it’s being aired on TV. Sinclair can order their stations to air the program but they cannot order anyone to actually watch (that’s what remote controls are for). Most likely, Republican and independents will watch this (similar to Democrats and independents watching Farenheit 9/11) and only in limited markets. By comparison, not only was F 9/11 aired nationwide, it was shown ALL over the world. When F 9/11 came out, I said it was a bad idea because it would lead to the use of movies for political campaigns. I didn’t think it would happen this quickly but conservatives have countered punched the liberals. I hope this showing will lead to legislation for any documentary that targets a political campaign (pay-per-view or not) to not be released 12 months prior to such campaign.

John Kerry says he was only mentioning Mary Cheney as an example of the “love” strong families have. Yet his own campaign manager says she is “fair game”. And his running mates wife goes one even more dispicable and suggests that the Cheney’s are “ashamed” of their daughter. Are these the people liberals want to represent them?

If you think Bush has a bad record, look at Mr. Kerry’s record, his is a lazy piece of crap that will flip flop on whatever will benefit him in the election. Bush is strong and he does what is best for America and not what is popular. He is not strong enough to run the most powerful nation.

Doesn’t it strike anybody as odd that a corporation is ordering it’s stations to preempt regular broadcasting and air a 45 minute political attack “documentary”? Sounds kinda unfair and politically biased to me, but what do I know.
P.S. Countering criticisms on Bush by simply saying “Look at Kerry’s voting record” or “uh…he’s a liberal!” is a very weak argument.
JD Says: October 16th, 2004 at 10:16 pm
Someone: then what is a good argument?
someone Says: October 16th, 2004 at 10:20 pm
JD: by defending Bush’s actions and decisions and giving a good explanation of why they were right or not
Some Fellow Says: October 17th, 2004 at 4:46 pm
Well, if you believe that Bush’s decisions defend themselves and that Sen Kerry is the one who needs to explain a few things, doesn’t that make sense?
“Bush is strong and he does what is best for America and not what is popular.” He said that. Sounds like some sort of defense to me.

Funny that liberals would try to make something of what Bush was doing as a National Guard reservist when we already know what Kerry was doing when he was a Naval reservist. He was meeting with communists in Paris.

I just have to interject, he was sent to meet with the Commies.
I like facts, not someone’s spin on them.

sent by whom exactly?

& why?

In regard to comment #8 , it isn’t odd at all considering the bias of CBS and Dan Rather. It isn’t odd at all considering that ABC told their correspondents to be critical of comments by Bush moreso than Kerry (or Republicans moreso than Democrats) and considering that Peter Jennings questions how the news can be reported free of personal observations, etc.

Amazing! Seems now that most showings of “Honor” will be blocked by Kerry Kamp of Kommies. Nobody has yet seen the military personnel file of our ‘really big American hero, John’. Flush both John’s!

Kerry and his violent thug followers and their methods remind me of the communists taking over Hungary in 1945. – I hope they will enjoy the results (which they could see in Cuba, if they have any brains which they don’t…)

Is it true that the big surge in voters registration in Ohio, ended up not being able to find a large number of those new voters, because they made up?
