No Matter What -Just Say ‘No’
It is interesting to note that there are still dead horse democrats on the Judiciary Panel regarding Supreme Court nominees in general and Justice John Roberts, in particular.
Ted Kennedy , Harry Reid, Barbara Boxer, John Kerry, Jon Corzine and Frank Lautenberg have already let it be known, loudly and proudly, that they are voting against Justice Roberts. O.Kaaaay. And their point is…?
While sane and rational people all along the political continuum see no problem with a man of Roberts’ intellect being voted to the Supreme Court, these bastions of party-line logic (not to be confused with facts) plan to vote against Roberts for no other reason than the fact (the only one they seem to recognize) that he was not nominated by a Democratic president. These are sorry excuses for even politicians. They can find nothing that sends up red flags…EXCEPT - Roberts has not been approved by the far left groups who own them.
I hope their constiuents use the same logic against these activist (not public) servants when it comes time for filling their positions and
No Matter What - Just Say ‘N0′.

The fact that he wasn’t nominated by a Democratic president raises a red flag.
The fact that he wouldn’t answer all of the questions posed to him on his “job interview”, raised some more red flags.
The fact that some of the documents, that he was gratious enough to release, painted the man as a deconstructionist, raises many more red flags.
Logic is going to tell some people not to trust this man. Others may be able to take the party line and trust anything a red coated nominee says. But which one is acting with more resposibility for the future? Look at the FEMA appointment Bush made. Had Bush asked Brownie a few questions, he could have avoided the embarassment of hiring a horse judge and then having to claim resposibilty for the Katrina aftermath.
If your belief is strong enough, some people can see only the good in somebody. Even if they have never proven that in real life. Like Bush to Brownie, and you to Bush. And yes, the opposite also holds true, some people only see the the bad in some people, like Kennedy to Roberts, and you to liberals.
That’s the beauty of partisan hackery. Blame by blaming the blamers for being blamers. But not everybody thinks like you, and they definietly shouldn’t be looked down upon for not being followers in your church of politics.

The contention of your words fit very well with this site, Mike. With typical and laughable quips littered with misspellings. And good job on the wordiness.

Mike,
Opinion noted.
You might want to look closer at those who are voting ‘no’ and note what they’re actual acheivements are.
A good case in point would be John Kerry - who differs from Pinnochio in 2 ways:
1.Kerry will never become a real person.
2.Kerry keeps getting tangled in the many strings jerked by the special interest groups that control him.
And, of course, the only head that Ted uses is not capable of rational thought.
(Please note that I do not think this way of all Democrats or Democratic leadership)
I am not a hardline Republican, though I am a conservative.
Realistically, there will never be a perfect choice for Supreme Court - but most of the panel (and I daresay, most of the country) do/have recognize(d) one of the best choices - politics notwithstanding.

I can name the same talking heads on the right with the same Pinnochio faults. Impersonal and lifeless is a conservative way of life. And special interest is a Conservative catch phrase only because they use it so well themselves. Look at Delay’s newest headache.
I agree, I don’t see the stumbling blocks that Kennedy or Kerry sees. Roberts looks fine to me. But he didn’t answer some very important questions. The biggest one? Will he uphold past constitutional decisions? That seems like a question that should be answered…
How rational does Kennedy have to be when the other side can rationalize intelligent design and that Sponge Bob is gay?
Hey shaine, How’d I do?

I received this email a few days ago. The picture was attached. I checked it out on Truth or Fiction and it is true.
The Picture of the Year,” or perhaps, “Picture of the Decade.” It
won’t be. In fact, unless you obtained a copy of the US paper which
published it, you probably would never have seen it.
The picture is that of a 21-week-old unborn baby named Samuel
Alexander Armas, who is being operated on by surgeon named Joseph
Bruner. The baby was diagnosed with spina bifida and would not
survive if removed from his mother’s womb.
Little Samuel’s mother, Julie Armas, is an obstetrics nurse in
Atlanta. She knew of Dr. Bruner’s remarkable surgical procedure.
Practicing at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville,
he performs these special operations while the baby is still in the
womb.
During the procedure, the doctor removes the uterus via C-section
and makes a small incision to operate on the baby. As Dr. Bruner
completed the surgery on Samuel, the little guy reached his tiny,
but fully developed hand through the incision and firmly grasped the
surgeon’s finger. Dr. Bruner was reported as saying that when his
finger was grasped, it was the most emotional moment of his life,
and that for an instant during the procedure he was just frozen,
totally immobile. The photograph captures this amazing event with perfect
clarity. The editors titled the picture, “Hand of Hope.” The text
explaining the picture begins, “The tiny hand of 21-week-old fetus
Samuel Alexander Armas emerges from the mother’s uterus to grasp
the finger of Dr. Joseph Bruner as if thanking the doctor for the gift
of life” Little Samuel’s mother said they “wept for days” when they
saw the picture. She said, “The photo reminds us pregnancy isn’t about
disability or an illness, it’s about a little person.” Samuel was
born in perfect health, the operation 100 percent successful.

Interestingly enough, I didn’t see this comment until after I made my comment (under “short jokes about liberals”) which referenced this same photo.
Reality is so different from just words.
