Michael J. Fox TV Commercial

Michael J. Fox appears in a TV commercial supporting the Missouri Stem Cell Initiative. This is a powerful political ad that some say hits below the belt. Rush Limbaugh accused Michael J. Fox of stopping the medication he takes for Parkinson’s Disease so he would “shake” more for the camera. Michael J. Fox admitted to stopping his medication prior to Senate hearings on stem cell research but was silent on the his condition in regards to the TV commercial.

  1. I don’t think I am appalled or even offended by this commercial, but do think its a load of crap and so are Michael J. Fox’s politics. The Missouri Stem Cell Initiative, like the national stem cell initiative by Democrats is a hot button issue for liberals, but its a fales premise. The bottom line is that government should not be involved in the stem cell research and/or drug making business. They should regulate it to the degree the society will tolerate the use of human embryos.

The MIssouri Stem Cell Initiative wants to prevent government regulation but wants government and tax payers to help foot the bill.

It’s a great TV commercial….it was just great for the wrong reasons.

  2. I just wanted to say that it was wrong of Limbaugh to make fun of Michael J Fox. He can try and back track all he wants but if you view the video of him making the comments he did, then you can tell he was obviously making fun of the guy. And I know you all turn a blind eye to that, but whatever. Guess I hope you dont get Parkinsons Disease or you would realize using doomed fertilzed eggs for research is not that big of a deal.

  3. Help me out Buck and show me where it says that the taxpayers will “foot the bill”.
