KARL ROVE, GOD FEARING AGNOSTIC!

Karl Rove resigned. He probably needs a break, but don’t think for a minute he’s gone for good. Guys like Rove, and when I say that I mean brilliant men with incredible skills, talent and drive, guys like that always have a plan. I’m sure he is going to relax a while and he deserves to do so, but I can’t wait for what Rove has in store for us next.

The big question now, among liberal circles, is who is the new Bush puppet master? After all, Bush doesn’t have a brain and is unable to think for himself…no wait, I mean he’s cunningly evil and hell bent on using the presidency to enrich his oil buddies….no, check that, he’s a moron and Dick Cheney is the real brains behind….wait a minute if Dick Cheny is the real brains behind the president then what was Karl Rove again?…..Damn it’s confusing to be a Bush Basher!

Karl Rove, like Lee Atwater and Roger Ailes, is not so much a genius as he is a principled doer. He knows what HE believes and makes things happen with those beleifs as his guideposts. That’s why he got under the collective skin of liberals so much and that’s why he was such a great consultant and advisor to the president. You can have tne James Carville’s, give me one Karl Rove. I may not win, but I’ll be able to sleep at night.

After annoucing his resignation Rove appeared on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace. During the interview Wallace asked Rove to comment on a statement by liberal activist, I mean newsman, Bill Moyers, wherein Moyers basically accuses Rove of being an agnostic who hoodwinked the Christian right. Rove didn’t blast Moyers like he should have but he did point out that he was, in fact, a Christian and Moyers did not, in fact, ever actually ask him directly. Seems Moyers based his assumption on some statements Rove had made at various functions and in news articles. After the interview Moyers fired off a letter to Chris Wallace basically calling Rove a liar and Wallace a liar and in typical liberal fashion ignored the facts because the facts were contrary to his hypothisis. Check out the exchange in this YouTube link below…Priceless.

Karl Rove is a champion of conservative principles and America is better off for having him as an advisor to George Bush. Nobody is perfect but Bush, with people like Rove advising him, govern because they beleive in what they are doing, not because they want to govern…and that my friends is the fundamental difference between liberals and conservatives.

God bless that God fearing agnostic Karl Rove.

  1. the reason why karl rove pisses liberals off is because he uses dirty politics that divides the country. he has done a lot of terrible things to this country and the republican party is suffering because of it.

no one is going to replace rove as bush’s brain because bush doesn’t need a brain anymore. he is a lame duck that cannot do anything to further his political goals. he failed with immigration and with privatizing social security so there isn’t anything left but playing defense with iraq and preventing democrats from passing any legislation.

i’m not sure what the point of this article was but it definetly had a delusional view of rove. but, thats what rove wanted, misinformation to lead to hating liberals.

  2. I sort of agree with Buck on this one. I don’t think that anyone really thinks that Rove was such a genius any more. He was made into a mythical beast by our imaginations. After all, we are the myth making species (our minds conjure gods and demons automatically). But Rove proved that he was a mere mortal when the Republic party lost of both houses of Congress in 2006. As Bush’s adviser he must not have given very good advice, judging from Bush’s choices.

I don’t know why anyone cares about Rove’s, or anyone else’s, religious beliefs. What matters is reality; what people actually do and how their actions affect the quality of other peoples’ lives. I always suspect that people are just blowing smoke when they talk about their religious fantasies so I don’t care what they say (although it often provides an intriguing insight into their imaginary world).

One thing that did irritate me about Rove, though, was that he seems fixated on a particular ideology and used partisanism to accomplish his ends (sure, Carvel irritates me for the same reason. They suck equally in that respect.). Unwavering commitment to a particular ideology (I find it easy to doubt them all) and partisanism are the problems that keep our systems from functioning effectively and will be our undoing if we don’t find antidotes against those poisons.

  3. Rove’s working for the right side, but after that hatchet job he pulled on John McCain, a man who endured torture for this country, do you really want to praise him at all?
