A traditional conservative value is accountability. This is a quote from your own blog:
Iraq: A couple of years in, we’ve already won the war, now we’re fighting to build a democracy, a little over 1000 US soldiers killed in action. A nation on the mend.
I suppose you have a selective memory when it comes to statements like this.
Basically, you’re an [removed by editor].
dooz Says: February 9th, 2007 at 5:57 am
You posted this just a little early; Speaker Pelosi, according to the news Feb. 7, wants a bigger Air Force personal airplane, says having to stop for fuel between D.C. and CA is a security risk. I want to know, where does an Air Force plane stop for fuel? An Air Force Base, I would assume. Are our AFBs that unsecured? I also want to know why previous Speakers didn’t need that extra protection.
Liberals accuse us of making up stuff, but we really don’t need to!
nutslikebush Says: February 10th, 2007 at 3:26 am
Dooz,
As it turns out, the story that you are telling was, in fact, a massive distortion of the truth. Pelosi did not ask for a different plane, or for any plane at all from the Air Force, for that matter. But the conservative pundits distorted the entire story, as always (how do they manage to generate such a continuous stream of lies that suckers will believe?). You guys who believe the talk show dorks, the Moonie paper (Washington Times), and FauxNews are so lacking in critical thinking skills I wonder how you survive.
nutslikebush Says: February 10th, 2007 at 3:37 am
dooz,
to help you get the story straight, here is a link to an article that contains credible information. You should question the credibility to your sources if they are passing those fake news stories like the stupid Pelosi plane story.
cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/02/09/pelosi.plane/index.html
Kolran Fett Says: February 10th, 2007 at 7:39 pm
Actually, nutslikebush, I saw the story about Nancy Palocy wanting a bigger plane on NBC which is a liberal news channel. It is, however, more acurate than cnn, so I probably won’t be following one more of your endless stream of misleading links. The ladies a nutjob.
Kolran Fett Says: February 10th, 2007 at 7:42 pm
Hey, about the first comment on this page, the guy’s name should be; “I went to college ’cause I had rich parents, but I didn’t graduate” Anyone can post things on this site, and that statement was probably quite old.
nutslikebush Says: February 11th, 2007 at 2:42 am
Fett, The White House disagrees with you. And according to US News and World Report, the Pelosi plane story was payback for making congressional representatives work 5 days a week instead of 3 like they did when the republicans were in charge.
Fett, if you think that NBC is liberal, your head is really screwed up and you drank way too much of the Limbaugh cool aid.
The Other Side Says: February 11th, 2007 at 10:00 pm
Stop worrying about what plane Pelosi takes to Cali. Who cares? Its not a big deal. People worry about her wasting the taxpayers’ money while the new economic plan calls for more defense spending. Get your priorities straight and worry about whats important.
nutslikebush Says: February 13th, 2007 at 1:17 am
TOS,
The Pelosi plane story was just an example of how the dark side of the republican party plays the dirty little game. They have their fiction writers over at the Washington Times who dig for scraps and twist stories beyond recognition. Why does the Washington Times exist? FACT: The Washington Times is owned by the MOONIES! (Reminder, the Rev Moon claims to be Jesus Christ). And they are a primary source of information to Limbaugh and his legion of ignoramuses.
Kolran Fett Says: February 14th, 2007 at 2:14 am
I never did get the jokes about drinking cool aid…
Cheers!

Love how the left quotes CNN but distrust Fox.
Classic
The Other Side Says: April 18th, 2007 at 6:55 pm
are you really that surprised that a network that prides themselves on fair and balanced but is overtly conservative cannot be trusted? they called foley a democrat, spent 10x more airtime on anna nicole smith than on walter reed, slammed kurt vondegut A DAY AFTER HE DIED and employs bill o’reilly and sean hannity. the media does have a left slant, but they don’t portray themselves as fair and balanced. how can you trust a network with a political agenda?
Kolran Fett Says: April 18th, 2007 at 11:19 pm
yup, and they consider CNN ‘centrist’ and NBC (moderatly liberal) is considered rightist.
lol, classic, if you can disclaim the information, disclaim the source.
shannon Says: April 19th, 2007 at 3:34 am
Classic, a right wing person…. oh wow an idiot. Can you believe it people? I thought they had grown a bit more intelligent. Maybe Ann Coulture could help you guys out with some bigotry and hate.
Kolran Fett Says: April 19th, 2007 at 10:39 pm
As to answer The Other Sides question: how can you trust CNN (indeed)?
The Other Side Says: April 20th, 2007 at 6:54 pm
i don’t watch cnn. i know the media has their ax to grind, but they aren’t as bias at withholding facts and overtly distorting their remarks to favor one political party as fox news does. and the left wing media never says that they are fair and balanced.
even yesterday, when alberto gonzales was testifying before a senate judiciary committee, fox news barely spoke of it. also, when they did speak of the prosecutor firings, they blamed the left-wing media and o’reilly praised goodling for pleading the fifth.
the administration is corrupt and the sad thing is that their network is actually affecting people’s opinions.
Kolran Fett Says: April 21st, 2007 at 5:06 pm
If it’s THAT bad, why do you stay in the U.S.?
The Other Side Says: April 26th, 2007 at 6:35 pm
so if the government of the united states is corrupt and misleading the public, I’M the one who has to leave!?! the general public of this country believes the democratic congress will lead us out of iraq better than the administration. the president’s rating is abysmal and is no where near improving.
pbs just aired a documentary by bill moyers outlining the media’s lack of information gathering prior to the invasion of iraq. it showed that the administration and media outlets, like fox news, pieced together “evidence” from sources with little or no credibility and used that information to lead america into war. anyone who asked for the “evidence” and questioned the government was labeled as unamerican and was given no medium to display their grievances. the administration used the wave of patriotism after 9/11 to further their flawed case for war and squash any opposition. the result is the current predictable result in iraq.
and now fox news is attacking moyers, not his message. look on youtube and watch the smear campaign, especially by bill o’reilly. if you watched the documentary and then saw what was being said on fox news, the misinterpretation of the message and the conservative bias is obvious. moyers does place some blame on fox news, but also on the rest of the media for not asking the tough questions that were needed because waging war needs to be done with the utmost confidence.
sadaam had no connection with al-queda, no weapons of mass destruction, was no imminent threat to the united states and waging war against him was tragically unneeded. if when i think its that bad i need to leave, then i guess so too does the majority of americans. but that would leave only those who agree with bush and his mistakes. i guess then bush can do whatever he wants, but that wouldn’t be any different than the first six years of his presidency.
Kolran Fett Says: April 27th, 2007 at 10:20 pm
I don’t agree with the OPINION that ‘the government of the united states is corrupt and misleading the public’. I have no use for ratings and poles, so if your OPINION is that the United States is so terrible, leave. And a documentary by Bill Moyers is going to be liberal to say the least, so stop feeding me bull. I suppose next you will quote farenheight 9/11. Now you say fox is smearing Moyers, do you want me to defend a media channel? NO WAY! “Sadaam has NO (my capitalization) with al-queda”? I don’t believe that. Infact, they are probably distant relatives (considering that all people came from the same two people). There were weapons of mass destruction, al beit not very many. And… WAIT A SECOND, your trying to get me to defend going into Iraq AGAIN. No, I won’t do it. We’re there and we need to stay there because we have a duty to the Iraqi citizens. We shouldn’t have rushed in there after 9/11 but we can’t change the past, CAN WE?
Looking back isn’t going to do us a bit of good.

shannon Says: April 28th, 2007 at 3:37 pm
Kolran the Iraqi citizens do not want us there. Check into those statistics see how much the entire world hates us. We are about to bring the hammer of the world down upon our heads. I work for an Italian and Greek immigrant, they do not move here for the culture or the wonderful people they moved here to make money. That is the fact with most immigrants. The world looks down upon us for trying to Americanize the world. We are not trying to help the world we just want alliances that 9 times out of 10 tuck their tails and run when disaster strikes here. Come on now people we say that we are the land of the free, but exactly how free are we? My mother possibly has cancer, she has wonderful insurance, do you know how long she has waited to have a biopsy? 6 weeks. So tell me again just how free are we?
Kolran Fett Says: April 28th, 2007 at 8:27 pm
We aren’t controled by a foreign government. We can choose our own jobs, ect.. If you really don’t think we are free, Shannon, I want you to move to North Korea, then tell me how horrible we have it here.
shannon Says: April 30th, 2007 at 3:27 am
Kolran who, exactly, do you think would bag your groceries, serve your food, check you out at the grocery store, etc, etc, etc?
There are 156 nations in the UN the US has military bases in 126 of those nations. Do you not think this is a little screwed up? I know we are not controlled by a foreign government but other countries see us as being a foreign government trying to control them. My point in all of this is why can we not take care of our own people? Why can we not break cycles of food stamps and welfare? Why not spend billions of dollars on education, healthcare, and many other things that would benefit our own people? Stop telling me to go and live in North Korea, that is what is wrong with our country today, we continue to tell people that if they aren’t with us then they are against us but fail to fix the problems that anger all of us that love our country and want it to be an example not something that others hate.
Why do you not ever respond to my valid points? I.E. the Iraqi people do not want us there, the americanization of the world, and so many other valid points I have raised to disprove you. I want responses to that not your verbal attacks on me that only make you look like an idiot. You never responded to the axis of evil question, never responded with a valid response to the deteriorating Y chromosome, never responded with why our so called alliances tuck and run, I mean come on now.
shannon Says: April 30th, 2007 at 3:34 am
You know if I wanted I could tote a beer around the streets of Greece, call the leader any name I would like to call him, walk around naked and guess what nothing would happen. The Dixie Chicks said they were embarassed that the president was from Texas and recieved death threats, now if I am wrong our freedoms and way of life are what we are fighting for right? Yet, all of you conservatives forget about that when it comes to what would benefit the people
Kolran Fett Says: May 1st, 2007 at 11:08 pm
no response, I don’t see at what you are trying to get me to argue for/against. If you want me to argue that our country is perfect, that is idiotic. Our country isn’t perfect, but I do believe that it is one of the best.
In your facts you make to many assumptions. You say that the dixie chicks are ‘putting down’ (for lack of better words) bush and that they are receiving death threats. I think you are trying to imply that they are from bush, but they are just from american people (and the media probably made 1/2 the story up).

an algerian doctor in france is working to become a pastrie chef so he can immigrant to america and work as a pastrie chef. he has a better chance at a better life as a chef in america than a doctor in france. people come to america because they will have a better life free of racism, sexism and religious persecution. we aren’t perfect by any means, but kolran is right in saying we are the best.
shannon Says: May 3rd, 2007 at 3:24 pm
You honestly think this country is free of racism? Are you kidding me!? You sir are a fool. If we are not racist then why is Chicago the most segregated city in the country? Why do we still use the N word? Religious persecution…… now I could be wrong but when people tell me I am going to hell for being gay that is a violation of my freedom of religion because my religion does not teach me that. Freedom of sexism, I suppose that is why there are so many sexual harassment cases in the US. Wow you guys are so blinded by what the media shoves down your little throats aren’t you?
shannon Says: May 3rd, 2007 at 3:30 pm
No the media had nothing to do with that. You know Kolran why not come up with your own ideas and ideals instead of going with what others tell you is right and wrong?

so you’re saying that clinton is worse than mccain. thats exactly what republicans want, the democratic party fractured because of this primary season. that is shortsighted and irresponsible thinking that may lead to a bush third term.
