Rep. Wu.’s statements spur violence on Klingon planets throughout the universe

Klingon Worlds are aflame today as Klingons react to Rep. David Wu’s inference that Klingons are warlike and unreasonable. The state department has issued a warning to Americans on the Klingon planet of Klinzhai to return home or stay indoors for fear of Klingon mobs. Klingon representative Lord Katai Ka’Min informed Condoleeza Rice that the Klingon empire will file a formal complaint tomorrow. “Rep. Wu’s statement is unacceptable. My government will not stand for it.”

Wu’s statement has created a strong reaction here in the United States as well, with many seeing Wu’s words as an indication that anti-Klingon feelings still exist here on Earth. Berkley professor Dr. Sawyer, an expert on specism explained how Wu’s statement was a throwback to Federation War I when the government encouraged anti-Klingon propaganda to build support for the war and motivate human soldiers. “The traditional view of the Klingon is that of a barely intelligible war-worshiping barbarian,” said Dr. Sawyer. “Hollywood, for example, collaborated with the government to create the image of the bloodthirsty Klingon,” Dr. Sawyer continued, “and for many years, until positive portrayals like that of LT Dorf became more common, the only thing humans saw Klingons do on screen was kill.” Dr. Sawyer also pointed out that many of the Klingons in human movies weren’t even Klingons, but humans dressed as Klingons, “People look at Christopher Lloyd now and laugh, but that’s the way it was.”

Meanwhile, the president of the Vulcan Student Association at UCLA issued the following statement: “The Vulcan Student Association is stunned by the illogic of Rep. Wu’s remarks. His hateful and ignorant address not only insulted Klingons but perpetuated the stereotype of Vulcans as nerds and model aliens. We want Wu to know that both Klingons and Vulcans are diverse races.” Afterwards, a Vulcan student commented off the record that Wu might make Klingons mad and that “you know how Klingons get when they’re mad.”

French-Klingon youth, upset at Wu’s remarks, says he’d rather destroy Paris than be treated like a second-class citizen. The French are planning another march of reconciliation if Klingons make good on their promise to burn down the city.

  1. This is too funny!!!! You are laughing at us? We laugh at you! What the hell is this? It must be a joke but how typical for it to show up on a republican web site!

  2. I don’t get it. Of course a joke making fun of liberals will show up at a Republican web site.

Nice to see that they are making effective and positive use of their time since losing both Houses…

  4. Greetings,(NucNeq)

Yesterday after reading this column I left you a message in Klingon. I see that it has been removed. Too bad. You obviously dont have the courage to keep it on your web site. Well after thinking about it I decided you should know a story about a True Klingon American and Hero…..Spec Jose L Ruiz. I know this person as Maruk, a fellow Klingon who I had the Honor of fighting next to online. He, and I and other people who love Star Trek and the Value of Courage, Honor and Duty like to think of ourselves as Klingon. That may sound funny to you, but for Maruk\Jose that was very real. So real that after 9-11 he joined the army to serve his country. On Aug 15th 2005 he lost his life in Iraq. (he told his widow he felt this was a distict possibilty before returning to Iraq after seeing his 6 month old daughter for the first and last time.) He was a true Hero in my opinion and lived the ideas we hold in fantasy. Yes I find Wu comments funny as a pretend Klingon American. He was so, so very wrong about this administration and President Bush. I would describe myself as a conservative. My family has a proud tradition in serving and loving this country. That is why I do not understand why so many “conservative” americans support President Bush. He was nerver a Vulan, Borg or Klingon. He is a Romulan. In my pretend language he would be discribed as a P’tak (weasel like person) or a Nuchpu.(coward, esp in light of his service record) He has used lies and desecption to put forth his poorly thought out agenda which has served to devide and weaken this great land that I love. As a conservative in the tradition of R. Regan or C. Powell or I. Eisenhower I dispise what he has done. Truely I do not understand how any american with any intelligence can support him.
I fear for the future for my son in this world that he made. Such poor decisions, such poor decisons. I would never honor him the name Klingon even though it is fictious.

Yes Rep Wu remarks are funny, the future will have not much humor in it I fear. Soon Humanity will be as fictious as Klingons.

    Bath la kow lu tagh
You you will be remembered with Honor Maruk\Jose

shame this country didnt have more Heros\klingons like that……..

I wonder if you will have the courage to keep this posted

  5. Up towards the top, nice comment Shannon (idiot) as for removing posts, Dktagh, I have never had a post removed in the history of my time here, so you must have forgotten to enter your e-mail when you posted, so it didn’t get posted.

  6. why do you liberal turkeys keep commenting on conservative forums?

I mean you’re a total laughing stock among us.

and you take yourselves way to seriously.

    and to klingon boy,
Honestly, Klingon? you’re spending time learning klingon and posting it on conservative websites? this is why when you stand before your Creator in Heaven you will feel ashamed. he might even call you a P’tak.

  7. its hard to have a debate with people who agree with everything you think. its interesting to see what conservatives actually think. while seeing how crazy conservatives are i found out how crazy liberals are too.

  8. The only good politician is a deal politician. :-)

  9. A deal politician? What is that? I mean is that one who deals or did you mean dead? Perhaps that would have been more funny

  10. Greetings to rob…..
I do not take myself seriously, I do take this nation and its people seriously. my hobby may be funny to you but thats ok. At least I know what is fictious and what is not. I think a true conserative would be intelligent, thus divorcing himself from fictious beliefs such as religion that are as true as fairy tales. It saddens me to see that being a republican means you are a “jesus freak”. I hate when conseratives denounce science and intelligent thought. Yes being a Klingon is fictious, but I Know what is real and what isnt. I love this country, my family has died for this country, Maruk gave his life for this country. What more do you want. I want a strong USA. So far the only things that are strong in this country is Exxon and Hailiburton(sp?). I mourn for this country and what it could of been. I think after reading many articles that many bad things will come after 8 years of bush, S

  11. lol, sure you know what’s real. But then again, you evolved from a monkey.
