There's another point, quite a major point in my mind, missing from this whole "sin of slavery" issue.

Slavery IS wrong, that's a given.

Here's the missing point...

It isn't 'American'.
African tribes raided neighboring tribes and took slaves.
Where was "whitey" in that scenario? A few centuries late, but still the scapegoat for the "uoME" mindset of anyone who has been fed the lie of the oppressor being "whitey".

How does the wrong Wright know that his own ancestors from...?Africa didn't have slaves of their fellow countrymen? How does he know that they weren't part of a rape pillage and burn party on the neighboring tribe?

He was never a slave. His parents weren't slaves. Obama certainly was never a slave. What do they really have to gripe about, anymore than any other human?
We can all find reasons to live angry because of past abuses or we can get a grip and get on with life. LIFE.
"The power of life and death is in the tongue."
I submit that Obama's greased tongue is quick and smooth with a script, but the same rage, unwarranted as it is on his part, is boiling in his heart as is boiling from Mr. Wright's mouth. Obama will act out later. His 'pastor' is doing it now.

Even liberals should be able to recognize the obvious...Obama is not going to bring peace or unity or any healing. He hasn't had any healing affect on his close friend, Mr. Wright, whom he's known for 20 years. How is he going to handle a whole nation with real problems?

Slavery in America was wrong. Slavery in Africa was wrong. Treating people as property and being an instigator in the horror of that degrading lifestyle is wrong. The horrors of what Obamas worldwide 'friends' are doing to whomever they choose are wrong.
Considering his own life and the present company he keeps, who is Obama to talk about the "sin of slavery"?

AMEN! Now this was a speach! How can we get him on tv? People need to hear this!!!! Condi Rice said in a recent interview that one of the reasons why she was a Republican is because when her father went to vote, the Democratic Party turned him away...so he went to the Republican Party and they let him vote.
