THE BABY, THE BATHWATER AND THE KITCHEN SINK
I was willing to give in to the audacity of hope. I wasn’t so afraid of change. I was ready to say, yes we can.
Now I’m not so sure.
The early signs of the Obama Nation are an abomination.
First order of business. CLOSE GUANTANIMO! Damn the torpedos, full speed ahead….uh…where are we going to put the terrorist, I mean prisoners of war, I mean the alleged ruffians? Hello?……Where? Alcatraz? Really! You mean we are going to move them from the isolated island prison to another isolated island prison!
Second order of business, create the enemy. We have found him and his name is Rush Limbaugh. Now that they don’t have George Bush to blame for everything they(Obama’s people and him) are going after the only other prominent conservative with a set of balls. Compare George Bush’s tolerance and interaction with the media. The only time he ever let his slip show was when he called attack dog journalist Adam Clymer a major league asshole…..and he was right. Just so all you true conservatives know. When Obama says Republicans shouldn’t listen to Rush Limbaugh, he’s really saying Republican’s shouldn’t listen to you. Hows that for a big tent?
Third order of business. Launch class warfare. Obama says the rich Wall St. fatcats that presided over this economic disaster should be thrown in jail. What about the rich Washington senators and congressmen who did the same?
Now I read where Obama is going to “review” the Buy American requirement set forth in the proprosed stimulus package because our trading partners don’t like it. Are these the same trading partners like China, where slave labor builds everything and the state supports every businesss with socialistic policy. Or is the trading partners like France where the state blocks free trade with huge tariffs on American made products?
Now I read where Iran is claiming the failure of western society because Obama wants to “talk it over”. Hate to say I told you so, but….
Now is the time for everyone to grab the baby, throw it out with the bathwater and follow it up with the kitchen sink.

Has Obama kept ANY of the lofty….scratch that. Has Obama kept ANY of his campaign promises? Oh yeah, releasing terrorists into the U.S. and putting us another trillion dollars in debt are still on track. On Guantanamo Bay, it’s like trying to rid my back yard of Brown Recluse spiders, so I round ‘em up (can’t kill ‘em), put ‘em in a box then bring that box in my house until I can find out if any other them REALLY meant to harm me. If I have no proof, I just release them, one by one, in my closet. And it’s not just Obama’s warped decision, the other Dems in Congress are going to go along with him!!! Just stand back and look that one. “Gotta beef up security at airports to keep terrorists out”. So, we take the very guys our troops were sent to get rid of and usher them into the U.S. HUH? ok, the economy….now, the only thing that is needed to fix our ailing economy is/are some ATV trails and 40 billion to reseasrch global-warming (now that the earth is cooling). ‘Get too deep in debt? Borrow twice as much. That’s been the philosophy in this country for the past 3 decades. That’s why we’re in this bind. Now even Washington believes it! I could take 500 eighth graders to Washington and beat what these clowns are doing. At least we wouldn’t have to worry about the eighth graders having having a history of ducking taxes. My favorite expression of liberals is “It’s time to move on”, or “let’s move on”. I love that. Listening this morning, I’ve heard 3 liberals, talking about Daschle and other Obama picks tax “errors”, say “So Daschle made a mistake, let’s just move on”. Like he failed to use his turn signal. BTW, how come none of these tax errors are EVER in favor of the government? Oh well, liberals make mistakes, conservatives commit crimes. ok…..I feel better now.

Ah, don’t worry about China. Their economy can’t grow forever.
I have a question for them though. How can Chinese businesses be making a profit if they charge so little? They practically spend all the make. I don’t think they really have any profits whatsoever. Their economy will probably suffer in the long run.
