  1. No Erkboma you didn’t do that team George kicked the ball now your expected to catch it as it rolls 90MPH out of control down the hill. Pay no attention to the heckles of the ignorant fans that listen to the refs that’s had their backs turned for the last several years.

  2. Just a joke. Calm down.

Out of curiousity, did he do that?

  3. Ha! Kaiser’s trying to be all funny and ironic with Rob, when his ‘name’ is Kaiser and he’s making jokes about the President!

Out of curiousity, you’re last name isn’t Wilhelm is it? Ja? Nein?

  4. Actually, the economy started falling in 2006 — AFTER the Democrats took control of Congress from “team George.”

  5. Georges mess, Obama’s test.

  6. What? No, d**kh**d! I just picked a cool sounding name. And I’m not “trying to be all funny and ironic with Rob”. It wasn’t a joke, I was really asking if it was or was not Obama’s fault.

I’d make a joke about “assuming = *ss out of U and me”, but you’d probably get on my case about that too.

“ja? nein?” Is that YOUR idea of being clever? FYI Wilhelm was the German kaiser’s first name.

  7. Of course it was not Obamas fault, it was George Bush and Bill Clinton’s fault. They gave too much power to Wall Street. Now we pay for 16 years of bad economic policies.

  8. Of course, the irony in all this crap is that the presidents really have very little control over the economy. Most of the real power is assigned to Congress.

  9. GLENN BECK WON’T HELP YOU

  10. ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, BECAUSE GLENN BECK IS TOO BUSY ACTUALLY FIGHTING FOR OUR FREEDOM ELSEWHERE. THAT MEANS WE’LL HAVE TO MAKE DO HERE ON THE HOME FRONT.

  11. This is the weirdest comment thread ever. Liberals have no sense of humor. They can’t laugh at themsleves and they only find humor in hatred. It a by-product of having your nose so far up in the air all the time.

For the record, Glenn Beck has helped all of us, tremendously by outing the hidden communist and socialists in Obama administration.

  12. buck, you actually believe that obama is socialist? if so, then what policies that obama has enacted have made america socialist?

glenn beck is a coward that fuels america’s growing partisianship. nothing he says is backed by any facts and he makes no sense. glenn beck is what’s wrong with american politics.

  13. Well, as of now, we can only speculate.

He certainly surrounds himself with Communists and communist-sympathizers. Case in point: Van Jones, who as we all know is no fan of the capitalist system.

  14. kaiser, who in the obama administration is a documented communist? not someone that glenn beck alleges or who’s words are spun out of context. what proof does anyone have that obama is surrounded by communists?

do people on this site actually believe obama is a communist? if so, what evidence is there to show obama is a communist? do people on this site actually know what a communist is?

  15. It’s “Urkel”, you dimwit.

  16. What are you talking about? Van Jones is a self-professed communist, albeit only earlier in his life. He was also involved with STORM, which is an avowedly Marxist organization. He is also highly dismissive publicly of the benefits of the capitalist system and has recently promoted “eco-capitalism”, which is basically environmentally-minded socialism/capitalism hybrid (the economy can be capitalist as long as it doesn’t hurt the environment).

I don’t see how someone who admits that they were active in a Marxist organization is somehow “spin” on the part of Glenn Beck.

What about Anita Dunn? It’s not solid evidence, but she has stated that she admires Mao greatly. Certainly she is at least blind to the darkest side of Marxism and its offspring ideologies. Isn’t that at least a little worrying?

Heck, you’d find more mainstream liberals nowadays quoting Lenin, Marx, or Mao than you would ever hear mainstream conservatives quote Hitler, Mussolini, or Machiavelli.

It may seem like I’m just taking talking points from pundits and I guess that’s a little of what I’m doing, but if they’re valid questions should they be dismissed just because of that?

Weren’t you listening? I JUST said that currently there is no direct evidence that Obama does indeed believe in Marxism. However, we have seen through his words, associations, and occasional actions that he does not believe that Marxism is such a bad thing and could very well even sympathize with it.

@never_to_return; OH NO, he made a SPELLING ERROR. Everybody stop what you’re doing, this one guy can’t SPELL the name of an obscure character from some TV show on this single itty-bitty blog in the vast sea of blogs on the internet.

    Jeez, get over yourself.

  17. if there is no direct evidence, just assumptions, then why are people so sure that obama is a socialist? kaiser, you go from saying that there is no “direct” evidence, to he doesn’t think marxism is such a bad thing, to he might sympathize with it. that’s a stretch.

in truth, obama is far less liberal than many people think. his hcr bill was far more centrist than socialist/marxist/whateverist that people were screeching. if it was sooooo left, then where was single payer health care, or public option, or the medicare buy-in? even republican ideas were included to try and garner votes.

obama has continued bush policies (military tribunals, rendition), has increased troops in afghanistan (fairly bush-esque) and kept gates on as the secretary of defense. doesn’t that sound more centrist than leftist?

yes, there are some liberal ideas that obama is turning into policy. but liberalism won the 2006 and 2008 elections. conservatives that are so frustrated with liberal policies being enacted needs to take a lesson from liberals who watched bush ram through his legislation. we had to deal with not agreeing with what was being done. the difference is that not only does obama want to enact his policies, he needs to fix the mess that bush left.

  18. I don’t think the bill was moderate because of Obama’s personal beliefs. It was moderate because of Republican (and some Democratic) opposition. Republican ideas were incorporated because of Republicans, not because of Obama.

Certainly he’s a politician and as such panders to one group or another, and it may be that he came off sounding more liberal during the campaign than he actually was, but I still find it hard to believe that his absolute position is that of a centrist.

Plus, I’m not sure how much actual input Obama himself had on the bill, so I’ll have to look that up.

I suppose if there was one thing I have less of a problem with, it would be the foreign policy. But still…

Personally, I don’t think Liberalism, all by itself won the ’08 election. I think public dislike of George Bush won the election. The public picked the person least like Bush.

  19. obama never pledged anything far left in regards to the health care bill. the white house backed off the public option really early and never fought hard for it’s inclusion. and obama didn’t have to include any republican idea, he did so to try and garner bipartisianship. however, he had to capitulate to the democrats to get their votes because republicans were going to filibuster.

now obama is going to open more sites for off-shore drilling. that is pissing off his base considerably. that’s another thing he campaigned for and should be more evidence showing that he’s not socialist.

  20. It’s all so confusing! Do I trust his actions or his campaign promises?!

So he’s just a politician. Pandered to the base, then mellowed out once in office. Okay, I can handle that.

    Fine, I’ll say it…….. he’s not socialist… [grumble grumble]
