neo-cons & the insurance co-ops think that the dem party & its constituents don't have the stomach to push health care reform via the parlimentary route. in all honesty, hearing from "blue-dogs" & moderate-dems in terms of the bill being adjusted & not forced through congress is what the healt care debate needed. in all honesty, the house will mimic the senate bill w/their own adjustments, only for it to be signed into law prior to the mid-terms. republicans, for some reason, think that libs have no idea how the legislative branch works, even though the dnc's grass roots ethos of getting more voters & demographics involved w/the electoral & legislative processes has done more regarding the average citizen having a broader understanding of how govt works. in the end, republicans still go to bat for corporations & special interests, while they blatantly leave the working class out in the cold.
