My friend Carl sent me this. What a commentary on not only the press, but on us as well.
I THINK IT IS REMARKABLE THAT WITHIN A WEEK OF TIGER WOODS’ CRASHING HIS ESCALADE, THE PRESS FOUND EVERY WOMAN WITH WHOM TIGER HAS HAD AN AFFAIR IN THE LAST FEW YEARS, WITH PHOTOS, TEXT MESSAGES, RECORDED PHONE CALLS, ETC.
AND, THEY NOT ONLY KNOW THE CAUSE OF THE FAMILY FIGHT, BUT THEY EVEN KNOW IT WAS A WEDGE FROM HIS GOLF BAG THAT HIS WIFE USED TO BREAK OUT THE WINDOWS IN THE ESCALADE. NOT ONLY THAT, THEY KNOW WHICH WEDGE! AND EACH AND EVERY DAY, THEY GIVE AMERICA MORE UPDATES ON HIS SEX-REHAB STAY,
HIS WIFE’S PLANS FOR DIVORCE, AND HIS PLANS TO RETURN TO THE PRO-GOLF CIRCUIT.
OBAMA HAS BEEN IN OFFICE FOR OVER A YEAR NOW, AND THIS SAME PRESS STILL CANNOT LOCATE OBAMA’S OFFICIAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE, OR ANY OF HIS PAPERS WHILE IN COLLEGE, OR HOW HE PAID FOR A HARVARD EDUCATION, OR WHICH COUNTRY ISSUED HIS VISA TO TRAVEL TO PAKISTAN IN THE 1980′S AS BARRY SOETORO AND
EVEN MICHELLE OBAMA’S PRINCETON THESIS ON RACISM. IT JUST CAN’T BE FOUND? YET THE PUBLIC STILL TRUSTS THAT SAME PRESS TO GIVE THEM THE WHOLE TRUTH . . . TRULY REMARKABLE!

obama’s citizenship isn’t even up for debate anymore. obama was born in hawaii, it’s been proven countless numbers of times. and who cares how obama paid for college or what he wrote about? what information will those sources provide about obama? maybe the fact that people aren’t looking for that info is because its meaningless and people have moved on. again, the birther arguments have been thoroughly debunked.
at least the information about tiger was, at first, tied to a possible crime. but i do agree that the american press cares too much about sex scandals.
why are people still so obsessed with obama’s personality and past? bush used cocaine, barely eked out college at yale, failed at the oil business, failed with the rangers had a dui arrest, etc. obama’s story is pretty much the american dream; he was raised in a single parent home, went to harvard and is now the president.
would people be so interested in obama’s birth certificate if he were white…yeah i said it. would tea partiers be so interested in obama’s education if her were white? trying to make obama seem ‘not like us’ and ‘different’ makes it seem like the arguments against him are racially based.

To be fair, none of the other presidents spent part of their childhood in Indonesia.
Not that it really matters. There are things for us to be more worried about than his certificate.

people on the other side of the political spectrum have ideological differences that worry them. that’s understandable. but for people to still obsess over an already proven birth certificate reeks of ulterior motives.
